Al Kolodziejski

Al Kolodziejski
Al says he wants to be on the selection committee for very simple reasons. First, he and Faith have been members of St. Barnabas for 30 years. They both love the church for its beauty, both inside and out. Their children were brought up here. The people here are wonderful. Al says he feels honored to play a role in deciding whom the next leader of our church will be: “There are many exciting happenings at St. Barnabas. We are primed for an adventurous and spirit-filled future. With all our prayers, I’m sure that God will lead us to find the one who will lead us there.”

Cynthia Pina

Cynthia Pina

She is a lifelong Episcopalian who “loves the liturgy, fellowship and welcome of the Episcopal Church.” In the 40 years of membership here, her activities have included: Sunday School teacher, Youth Group leader, Lay Eucharistic minister, Prayer & Praise Group, Choir member, Vestry member, Junior Warden, member of the Altar Guild, member of the Prayer Chain, member of the Prayer Shawl ministry, various Bible and book studies, Overnights of Hospitality program, and member of the Anti-Racism Task Force. As the only person of color on this committee, she believes that she will be able to bring another perspective to the search, along with a spirit of discernment: “That gift of discernment was the one that brought me to apply for this committee. I have learned over the years, that the ‘small nudge’ I feel is often the Spirit moving me to act.”
