Mondays are Meeting Day

Many of our ministries hold their regular monthly meetings on Mondays. Come for your ministry, stay for a potluck each Monday at 6:30 p.m. (either before or after your meeting) in the Parish Hall.

This is an opportunity to get involved with a ministry you’re interested in (just show up for the meeting), or just come socialize with other parishioners at 6:30 p.m. In true potluck fashion, there are no assigned dishes.

Blessing of the Animals

In the tradition of St. Francis, our worship today was held outside on the the lawn and included blessing the four-legged members of our families.

A cool, crisp October Sunday.

About 100 people.

About 60 dogs.

Three cats.

An unknown number of stuffed animals.

Music Series Concert: Opera del West

Saturday, October 13 at 7:00pm

Join us for the first of our 2007-2008 Psallite et Gaudete series of concerts as we welcome Opera del West back to St. Barnabas. This is a young opera company which provides young rising singers an opportunity to perform at the same time as it provides communities chances to hear opera without traveling far from home.

Saturday's concert features scenes from Puccini and a performance of Seymour Barab’s one-act opera A Game of Chance. There will be a small reception following the concert.
