Reading Together During Lent
In an effort to support and accompany our children as they learn about what loving our neighbor and loving the earth means we will be reading Barbara Kingsolver's book Flight Behavior and coming together to discuss it after the 10 am service, April 10th.
Living Well Through Lent: Listening with All Your Heart, Soul, Strength & Mind
Rev. Louise will facilitate a group to discuss the book, Living Well Through Lent on Wednesdays after the 6 pm chapel service. The group will meet at the rectory for a soup supper and discussion. Contact Rev. Louise to sign up.
Death and Teacakes
Join us for a casual, informal, continuing conversation about "Death & Teacakes" moderated by Rev. Matt & Rev. Louise. We're going to try to remove some of the stigma of talking about death and just openly express our fears, anxieties, hopes, and ideas about death, dying and grief. Meetings will be at 4 PM in the Parish House with following topics - (light refreshments will be served)
- March 12 - What do I think about death?
- March 19 - What do I think about dying?
- March 26 - What do I think about grief?
Women at the Well
A new, small group will be forming that aims to create a safe place for mutual respect and non-judgement where women of St. Barnabas can build community and support one another as they navigate the joys and sorrows of human connection, and how they intersect with faith, service and God.
The group will involve a 5 week commitment for women of any age and will include topics such as family, loss, love, faith, God, & vocation. Meetings will be 6:45 - 8:45 PM on March 8, 22, 29 and April 5 & 12. Contact Colette Potts at email@example.com.
Good Friday - April 14 - 12 noon - Stations of the Cross
